Our journey hasn’t been easy, but with God’s grace, love and your unwavering support we’ve overcome every challenge.

BUT OURS IS MY FAVORITE

We first met during the summer of 2009 in a local basketball league in our barangay. Gelo, wearing a green jersey, caught my eye immediately. I developed a crush on him and would often watch him play. We became textmates, but our relationship didn’t progress beyond that—some might call it a summer fling.

Fate brought us together again when we became schoolmates at Rizal Technological University-LHS. Our love story blossomed secretly during our fourth year of high school until my auntie discovered us. With no other option, I introduced Gelo to my family when we were just 15. Initially, my family opposed the relationship, but Gelo’s persistence and kindness eventually won them over.

Fast forward to 2016 and 2018, when I set out to pursue my American dream. Despite the miles between us, we conquered two long-distance relationships, proving that our love could withstand any challenge. Looking back on those years, I’m certain that together, we can overcome anything the future holds. With time, our love has only deepened, growing stronger with each passing year.

Then came June 4, 2023—a day I’ll never forget. On a short vacation to Singapore, Gelo asked me the most beautiful question, and without hesitation, I said yes to forever.

As we reflect on the journey that brought us here—our friendship, shared dreams, a proposal straight from the heart, and the unwavering support we’ve given each other—we eagerly anticipate the next chapter of our love story. Now that we’ve vowed to spend forever together, we invite you to join us and witness the beginning of our happily ever after….

Your Questions, Answered

What time should we arrive?

The procession of the entourage will start at exactly 3:30PM. Please be there 30 minutes before and consider the traffic and travel time.
RSVP

As much as we would love to accommodate all our friends and relatives, we have a limited number of guests due to budget restriction. Please understand that this event is strictly by invitation only. Guests not found on the guest list will not be allowed to enter. NO plus one unless stated!

The favor of your reply is required on or before October 15, 2024.
I’ve RSVP’d “yes” but due to change in my circumstances, I will no longer be able to attend. What should I do?

We understand that some things are beyond your control but please let us know as soon as possible so we can reallocate your seat/s.
I’ve RSVP’d “no” but my schedule has changed and I can now attend. What should I do?

Please let us know as soon as possible. Having said that, please understand that we may have reallocated your seat/s to another party. Therefore, we cannot guarantee the same number of guests or none at all.
Can we bring our kids to the wedding?

We love your kids as much as you do but we regretfully cannot accommodate them at the venue for this is an “Adult Only” event. The only kids attending are those are part of the entourage and those who are requested. We hope you understand and enjoy your night off.

Where can we park our cars?

There is an ample space of parking for everyone. Parking attendants will be there to assist you!
What time will the reception start?

Cocktail hour starts at 5:30 PM at the La Terraza Garden. Appetizers and refreshments will be served. Use this time to mingle, register and choose the best perfume that suits your taste. Kindly wait for us while we are doing our empty ballroom shot inside the venue.
Can we take photos and videos during the wedding?

Of course! You are free to take photos and videos as many as you want but please don’t get in the way of our official photographers and videographers. We ‘d love to see your point of view during our wedding! Use our hashtag as well #DEOneforROANNE <3
Can we sit anywhere during the reception?

No, please. It took us a lot of effort and discussion to finish the seating arrangement, which is planned for everyone’s convenience and network preference. So no need to worry, you’ll be surely seated along with your group of friends.
When is the appropriate time to leave?
- It took us more than a year to plan a wedding that everyone will hopefully enjoy. We aim to end the program at around 9:30 PM. But if you opt to stay, we hired a DJ for after party until 11pm!
- If you must leave early, we’d love to thank you and say goodbye before you go. MAYBE NOT WHILE THEY’RE PLAYING THE SAME DAY EDIT VIDEO THOUGH.
How can we help the couple have the best time during their wedding?

PRAY with us for favors and provisions. RSVP now. WEAR appropriate attire. Be there on time. Stay until the end of the program. Enjoy the night with us!
