Our Love Story

Our story began in 2018 with a simple Facebook interaction. Christian messaged Josel after seeing her post about a guessing game. His answers were not really serious—it seemed he simply wanted a reason to start a conversation. What began as a small chat soon turned into something more meaningful.
Not long after, when he came home from Manila, they finally met in person. Christian still remembers the moment Josel walked toward him—he says everything around him suddenly felt like it was in slow motion. He was a true gentleman, and being together felt easy and joyful. After a little time spent together and some casual jamming, he returned to Manila for work.
Months of constant conversations and courtship followed. Finally, on August 19, 2019, when he came home again, Josel said yes.
Their relationship then became a five-year long-distance journey. Though miles apart most of the time, Christian would always come home during vacations and long holidays. They also made time to travel together on their anniversaries. Through these moments, they came to know each other more deeply.
Josel discovered in Christian a man who is patient, kind, loving to his family, and never selfish when it comes to sharing and caring. Like any couple, they had small misunderstandings, but they always found their way back to each other because both were willing to listen, understand, and adjust. Those moments only made their bond stronger—and gave Josel the certainty that he was the one.
In January 2025, after a small disagreement, Christian suddenly proposed while they were sitting in the car. Surprised, Josel asked, “Are you serious?” He simply said that he truly wanted to spend his life with her. Josel laughed and said yes—but insisted he still needed to propose properly!
And so, on the night of February 10, 2025, during a trip to Cavite, Christian prepared a romantic dinner and the heartfelt proposal he had been planning all along. This time, Josel said YES once again.
And now, here they are—joyfully preparing to begin the next chapter of their love story as they walk together into forever. ❤️
