Our Love Story
Some love stories begin with grand gestures, while others quietly unfold in the most unexpected moments—softly, patiently, and beautifully in their own time.
Ian and Liz began as simple coworkers in Masbate in 2020, when love was the last thing on their minds. Not long after, Liz requested a transfer to Legazpi City, drawn by the comfort of being closer to her hometown in Albay. Unbeknownst to her, Ian had been quietly admiring her all along and unknowingly, she had begun to feel the same, keeping her own quiet admiration to herself. On the very day she left Masbate—June 3, 2021, Ian finally gathered the courage to send a heartfelt message, thanking her for the short time they had shared as friends and confessing his feelings. Surprised yet secretly delighted, Liz never expected it, as Ian had always seemed distant and reserved.
Later that year, their paths crossed once more, and what began as simple conversations blossomed into daily exchanges filled with laughter and warmth. In time, Ian asked for the privilege of courting Liz, and she gladly welcomed his intentions. Through months of patience, sincerity, and a love that steadily grew, they officially became a couple in 2022.
Their love then grew stronger across the distance, as they spent nearly four years in a long-distance relationship, proving that love knows no boundaries when two hearts are truly committed.
In 2025, Ian turned Liz’s childhood dream into a real-life fairytale when he proposed in the happiest place on earth—Hong Kong Disneyland. In a moment filled with magic and wonder, as if the world paused just for them, Liz said yes to a lifetime of love, laughter, and their very own happily ever after.
In that same year, with a heart full of intention and love, Ian also requested a transfer from Masbate to Legazpi City, choosing not only a future with Liz, but a life where distance would no longer keep them apart. It was a quiet yet meaningful gesture, one that marked the beginning of a new chapter, no longer defined by miles, but by togetherness.
