Our story began at Baguio Country Club, where we first met as colleagues. From the very beginning, working together felt easy—our professional relationship was smooth, and there was mutual respect.

Eventually, Tasha moved on to a new chapter and resigned from Baguio Country Club. After that, our communication became occasional and unexpected. We would reconnect once in a while, usually through simple birthday greetings—short messages that quietly kept us connected even as life moved forward.

Then came the pandemic, a time when the world slowed down and routines changed. By coincidence, we found ourselves living in the same area. During this time, we exchanged casual messages—short check-ins and little conversations that would appear briefly, then fade again, as life carried on.

Eventually, small work-related favors brought us back into conversation. What started as quick questions gradually turned into longer chats and more frequent conversations. By then, Tasha was based in Manila while Kineth remained in Baguio, but distance didn’t stop us. Over time, staying in touch became part of our routine, and we began doing Discord movie streams—what we fondly called our “online dates.” Those movie nights became something we always looked forward to. We laughed, shared stories, and spent hours talking, even while miles apart. What started as casual conversations gradually turned into something deeper and more meaningful.

Through late-night talks, shared laughs, and countless online dates, our friendship slowly grew into love. The conversations that once faded and reappeared eventually stayed—and so did the feelings that came with them.
