Growing Up Story

There was a time when I believed that growing up meant having everything figured out. 

This is Madison.

I thought it meant certainty— knowing who I was, where I was going, and never looking back. I thought strength meant never breaking, never questioning, never feeling too much. 

But life slowly showed me otherwise. 

It led me through moments I did not expect, seasons that tested my heart, challenged my faith, and made me question everything I once thought I knew. There were days I felt lost, carrying emotions I could not fully understand, and nights where all I could do was sit in silence, hoping things would make sense again. 

And in those quiet moments, I found myself turning to God. 

Not always with clear words, but with a heart that longed to be heard. And even when I felt distant, even when I doubted, He remained constant—guiding me, holding me, and slowly teaching me that growing up was never about having everything together. He never left me.

As I step into a new chapter of my life, I pray for the grace to release every chapter He has already closed for me and to move forward in His will. I don’t really have to figure it all out. I trust that what He has taken away was never meant to remain, and what lies ahead is held securely in His hands. Even when the path feels uncertain, I choose to walk in faith, believing that His plans are always greater than my own.
